
COURSE FORMATS
The AIT certificate course is delivered in a live, two-day seminar or self-paced online format.
Both formats provide an assessment-based certificate of education that is a comprehensive overview of the specialty of adaptive fitness methodology, safety and risk mitigation, and program implementation.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
Graduates learn and practice procedures that will enable them to conduct safe and effective fitness training for people with disabilities and provide an inclusive setting using universal design principles.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
The AIT course is intended for fitness trainers, adapted physical educators, sport team coaches, therapists (PT, RT, OT), and persons with disabilities.

CERTIFICATE & CONTINUING EDUCATION
